Minimum System Requirements - Professional Edition
Fortran 95 with Visual Studio Fortran Integration features
Visual Studio 2010 must be installed before the Fortran integration package can
be installed.
Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran 95 must be installed for the Fortran integration package
to function correctly.
Typical installation requirements for the Compiler with Visual Studio 2010:
- Hardware (Recommended Minimum)
- Computer that has a 1.6GHz or faster processor
- 1 GB (32 Bit) or 2 GB (64 Bit) RAM (Add 512 MB if running in a virtual machine)
- Up to 3GB of available hard disk space
- 5400 RPM hard disk drive
- DirectX 9 capable video card running at 1024 x 768 or higher-resolution display
- Operating System
Visual Studio 2010 can be installed onto any of the following systems:
- Windows 7 (x86 & x64)
- Windows Vista (x86 & x64) with Service Pack 2 - all editions except Starter Edition
- Windows XP (x86) with Service Pack 3 - all editions except Starter Edition
- Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64)
- Windows Server 2008 (x86 & x64) with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003 (x86 & x64) with Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003 R2 (x86 & x64)
Fortran 95 without Visual Studio
To use Fortran 95 without Visual Studio Integration:
- A Pentium series or compatible processor
- Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003
- 35 to 65 MB of available hard disk space on the installation drive, depending on
the sub-features selected
