Fortran 95 Documentation Map

Because a tremendous amount of information and capabilities are present in Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran, this section provides links and a brief description of what is covered in the Fortran documentation. Though many parts of the documentation could be considered to be independent of other parts, an understanding of certain core subjects is necessary if the programmer is to successfully create Fortran applications.

Hopefully, the programmer will be able to use the information in this section to pinpoint areas of interest, and to avoid wading through volumes of irrelevant information.

• Fortran 95 Language provides a brief overview of the Fortran 95 language and supported extensions.


• Fortran 95 User's Guide is the source of information for the Win32 Fortran 95 compiler (LF95) and developments tools, including both Visual Studio and command line:
