Note: When installing on Windows Vista ©, Windows 7 ©, Windows 8 © or newer, User Account Control (UAC) may occasionally display a permission dialog that is hidden behind other dialogs on the desktop. This may happen if you look at some other window, and the installer dialog loses focus. You can tell this is happening when the UAC taskbar item is flashing, and the installation dialog seems to be in a wait state. Clicking on the taskbar item will bring the UAC dialog to the front, and installation can continue when you dismiss the dialog.
Note: Removing Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran before Visual Studio is recommended.
To completely remove the Lahey Fortran product: Open Programs and Features in the Windows Control Panel. Select Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran 7.5 and press the Uninstall (or Remove) button. You may be prompted to confirm the removal, then the uninstallation will continue.
To remove one or more Lahey Fortran features that were installed: Run the original installation program and select the Modify radio button. De-select the feature by using the drop-down box to the left of the feature that you want to remove. Press Next and complete the setup.
To completely remove the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Shell: Open Programs and Features in the Windows Control Panel. Select Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Shell and press the Uninstall/Change (or Remove) button. In the next dialog, select the Uninstall link. You may be prompted to confirm the removal, then the uninstallation will continue.
